Our Green Firm Certification program was adopted by the federal government, adapted by HUD to create a customized accreditation for affordable housing developers and other grantees. Over 40 companies from around the US are currently in the process of achieving this unique recognition, which provides support to internalize best practices and then validates that they have institutionalized the systems, processes and program management to deliver best practices in green building, and realize portfolio-wide improvements over time. Even better, the adaptation of our SPI Certification criteria has led to a revised version of the private sector program, which is even more streamlined and easy to use! The next version will be ready this summer, so stay tuned!
